Sharon Scott, Senior Vice President, Medical Programs, ESIS
Sharon Scott is Senior Vice President of ESIS Medical Programs. In this capacity, she focuses on the implementation, management and oversight of ESIS’ medical programs, including bill review, Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), pharmacy, and case management. In addition, she manages a staff of medical impact managers and other professionals who are responsible for maintaining external and internal customer relations specific to medical cost containments services, conducting audits on managed care services, overseeing state compliance on managed care regulations, and providing ongoing training to ESIS’ field offices and clients.
Prior to this role, Ms. Scott served as Vice President, Medical Programs where she developed innovative managed care solutions for ESIS’ workers compensation clients and ensured that the delivery of those services helped achieve clients’ dual goals of improving outcomes for injured workers and reducing their organization’s total cost of risk.
Ms. Scott has nearly three decades of industry experience and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Arts from Cornell University.
